Living in Ottawa, it's hard not to feel the excitement over the upcoming Canada Day celebrations!
I am very proud to be Canadian, and I found the perfect way to showcase my team spirit; NAIL ART!

The lovely folks at Nail Polish Canada sent over these Canadian flag nail vinyls from Whats Up Nails, in exchange for an honest review! With the big Canada 150th celebrations fast approaching, I felt it was the perfect way to show some subtle patriotism.

If you want to score some for yourself, keep reading!

Since I'm still rockin' my wedding manicure (They're encrusted in Swarovskis, I'm not about to pick those off!), I invited my friend Sarah over to test these on her nails while I gave myself a patriotic pedicure!

I'm no nail art pro by any means, but these vinyls make it so easy to have a fun and flawless design. Other stencils I've tried in the past were hard to hold in place and get a clean finish from. These stick on your nail and peel off smoothly, without disrupting any of the polish (do keep in mind your base coat must be fully dry beforehand).

We tried the stencils with both creme and glitter formulas, and both gave great results!
Though if you lack a steady hand, you can also simply apply the sticker directly to your nail. A little clear top coat helps to keep it in place for longer!

I cannot say enough great things about these nail vinyls! I'm so excited to rock a maple-clad manicure on July 1st, and  now you can, too!

Note: Offer is valid for 10 people only! Hurry and get yours before they run out!

How will you be celebrating Canada Day this year? If you're in Ottawa, will you be joining the crowds downtown?
